With its participation in the European programme Upcycle Your Waste, the Economic House Ostend wants to support local businesses. The mission is to guide SMEs step-by-step to get more value out of their business waste, thereby reducing waste-related costs. Waste streams are converted into new resources, thus supporting the circular economy and contributing to a sustainable planet. This is fully in line with the intention of the local policy to make Ostend an environmentally and nature friendly city by, among other things, exploiting the possibilities of the circular economy.
